I am a chemist by education, whose scientific training laid the foundation for a diverse career development in the IT industry. My academic journey began with a diploma in chemistry from the University of Cologne and culminated in a Ph.D. in Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University. This comprehensive education paved the way for my subsequent career in information technology.

In 1999, I embarked on my first position at RA-Mikro Cologne, focusing on speech recognition and machine learning. Shortly thereafter, I successfully completed certifications as a MCSE and MCDBA, designating me as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Microsoft Certified Database Administrator. As a self-employed professional, I gained extensive experience in various IT domains, particularly in managing CRM systems, Oracle, and Microsoft databases, leveraging my programming and scripting skills in VB and VBA.

In 2016, I joined Pallas, a company specializing in software security, where I engaged in firewalls, cryptography, Bitcoin, and AI among others. In 2020, my career path led me to ParcIT in Cologne, where I focused on machine learning and was responsible for managing MSSQL databases, with a particular emphasis on solving performance issues in software for banking credit risk assessment.

Since 2022, I have been self-employed again, focusing on C#, PowerShell, MSSQL, TSQL, and performance tuning. In this capacity, I utilize my broad experience, grounded in my scientific education in chemistry and my extensive professional background in IT, especially in database and application development.
